Space Stories with Walker Books

I am pleased to present a series of Space Stories inspired by the Summer Reading Challenge Space Chase and the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing. These story presentations are made with the kind permission of Walker Books.

The Boy from Mars (Simon James) – in this charming and poignant tale Stanley’s Mum has to go away for work. Whilst she is gone Stanley decides to leave too and the family are visited by a Martian who proceeds to get into trouble at home and school. This story about feelings is suitable for Early Years, Foundation and Key Stage One children (3-7 years old).

Bringing Down the Moon (Jonathan Emmett) – one night Mole discovers a bright silver coin hanging in the sky and tries to pull it down not realising that the Moon is not as near as it looks. This story about friendship is suitable for Early Years, Foundation and Key Stage One children (3-7 years old).
